Shelter "Pod Śnieżką” (the previous name was “Śląski Dom”) – the first shelter was built here in 1847 r., it was rebuilt after the fire 1904 r. The present building was erected in 1922 r.
After the war, in 1946 r. The Lower Silesian Tourist Cooperative has reopened the shelter (then named after Stanisław Wyspiański) under the name of "Silesian House”. After it was taken over by PTTK, it was given its current name. The building was leased by WOP and a border watchtower was established in it. Today it houses only a buffet for tourists.
