PTTK hostel "Na Hali Szrenicka” – w 1786 r. a shepherd's hut was built here (Nowa Śląska Buda, in opposition to the Old Silesian Buda at the Łabski Peak), which over time was turned into a tourist hostel. W1869 r. a road from Szklarska Poręba was built (it is not available for private vehicles). Hala Szrenicka is popular among tourists (then Łąka Graniczna) favored the development of the shelter, which, after several modernizations and reconstructions, reached the level of a comfortable mountain hotel. After World War II, the building was taken over by the Border Protection Army, then the Polish Tatra Society, a w 1950 r. PTTK. W 1975 r. part of the shelter was consumed by fire, but the next year after the reconstruction, it welcomed guests again.
Today the hostel has 110 beds: in a two-room apartment and rooms 2- (one with a bathroom), 3-, 4-, 6-, 8- and 10-12 people (with or without a wash basin), baths, sauna, buffet, event room and internet access (2 positions). They are nearby 3 T-bar lifts. In the shelter there is a mountain ridge of the Karkonoska GOPR Group, and nearby – Meteorological Observatory of the University of Wrocław.
