The pass under the Śnieżka Mountain (1394 m n.p.m.) – narrowing and lowering in the Main Ridge of the Karkonosze Mountains, between Równia pod Śnieżką and Śnieżka. From the north it is undercut with the Łomniczki Cauldron, and from the south Upskou jamou. It is a convenient vantage point. A large building of the Pod Śnieżką hostel stands under the pass”.
