Równia under Śnieżka – extensive flattening of the surface 9 km² in height 1400-1446 m n.p.m., located within the Main Ridge between the Burned Watchtower, The pass under Śnieżka, Studnićni horou and Lućni horou. One of the most valuable natural areas in the Giant Mountains. The Plain is a Palaeogene plaque made of granite. Rare subalpine peat bogs were formed in the depressions (with a thickness of up to 2 m), mountain pine grows in higher places. There is a variety of plants in peat bogs: platypus sedge and oligoflora sedge, woolly turf, wełnianka pochwowata, sphagnum moss, bilberry and lingonberry, small-leaved cranberry, both-sex crowberry and common heather, and also the relict cloudberry. Algae that grow in small lakes are also common.
The peat bogs-covered Równia pod Śnieżką is an important area in the water retention system. Numerous streams that flow to both sides of the Main Ridge begin here, there are also many sources.
